May 5th was my mom's birthday! We celebrated on the 4th though because my little brother had a track meet on the 5th.
My mom had found a recipe for an Almond Wedding Cake that she wanted to try. So, I made that for her. We enjoyed this DELICIOUS cake for an afternoon treat. My mom's birthday supper was grilled steak, rosemary roasted potatoes with a white sauce, roasted asparagus, and potato bread.
And, of course, there were some presents.
