There are different ways people use to get rid of hiccups... or try to get rid of them. Some hold their breath, eat some peanut butter (which I would say is the second best and yummy!), or have some one "scare" them.
Well, this is how we get rid of hiccups... it works every time.
Simply have a glass of water is a table/butter knife in the glass.
I think, from my usage of this technique, the reason this works is because of the way you drink and swallow with the knife against your forehead.
So, the next time you get the hiccups, have a glass of water with a knife in the glass and drink as much water as you can without stopping.
