Girls Cross Country Beginning of the Season Bar-B-Que

I LOVE having parties!  And, lately, I really had an urge to have one.  So, I did.  It was kind of a last minute one... but it still worked out.  Since, cross country just started, and it is still summer, why not have a bar-b-que.  Not all the girls were able to come, but 5 out of 7 did.  And, we still had fun!

The Menu:

Grilled BBQ Chicken

Potatoes

Corn on the Cob

Dinner Rolls

Fruit and Veggies

The food was taking longer that we thought it would, so we sort of dug into the dinner rolls.

We would have eaten outside, but eating outside at our house, means getting attacked by cat that want your food.

After supper, we decided to do a photo shoot!  We got a little silly, but had fun!

We did do a little dressing up, but those pictures were really silly and really didn't turn out.

We were going to have a bonfire, but we got a little too carried away taking pictures, and every one had to go home (practice the next morning).  So, my brother and I went out, to our not so hot fire, and roasted a few s'mores.
