Honey Oatmeal Buns

These buns are super yummy!  They make great ham or turkey sandwiches.  This is what we make if our family is going to be on the road, and we need some lunch or supper.  Everyone likes them!

You do make them in the bread machine.

We divide the dough into 8 equal pieces.  They are a good sized sandwich, but you could make them bigger or smaller if you want.  You can also divide the dough into 24 pieces to make dinner rolls... they would be really yummy with chicken wild rice soup.

I did mine with turkey, a little lettuce, and GUACAMOLE!  Super delicious!  They are also really good with just ham... or you could do whatever you like on it.

Honey Oatmeal Buns

1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup water
3 T. honey
1 T. vegetable oil
1 T. sugar
1 t. salt
2 cups bread flour
2/3 - 3/4 cup oatmeal
2 t. yeast

Place ingredients in bread machine.
Use roll/dough cycle on bread machine.
When dough is finished, divide it into 8 (or however many you want) pieces, and place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
Let rise.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 min.
